Blade balancing
This is one of the most important processes in making scissors. The left and right blades are combined and balanced to achieve the best possible sharpness. Unlike a single-edged knife, scissors only work effectively when two blades, a moving blade (round) and a stationary blade (angled), are combined. The rivets (tightening) are also assembled to the optimum condition, neither too strong nor too weak, and the craftsman carefully finishes the fit of the left and right blades and the grip by hand.
